The card packs — all free until September 15
Every card is an image. You save it once and it works on the plane, in the subway, and with no signal at all — and it prints at home on a sheet that fits a passport wallet.
The paid date has moved to September 15. The reason: the Japanese on these cards has not been through a native-speaker register check yet. Until it has, nothing here is for sale. Selling a card that is wrong in a way you cannot detect is the one failure this site cannot have. Everything stays free until September 15, and every correction lands in the changelog with a date.
One email gets all 23 cards in one download. If you download before September 15: you keep every card you took, and every correction to those cards, forever. That was the promise and it stands — nothing is taken back and nothing expires. Cards released after September 15 are part of the paid packs, for everyone.

Phone, print, and the plan guide
Phone. Every card at 1080 × 1620, sized for a camera roll. Save the album once and it is offline forever. There is no app to install and no account to make.
Print. Sheets laid out 4-up with cut marks, in both US Letter and A4, in grayscale so no information is carried by colour and your ink lasts. Cut them out and they fit a passport wallet.
The plan guide (Complete only). One PDF that puts the situations in the order you will actually meet them: the arrival day, the first konbini, the first ramen shop, the onsen on day three.
